# How do I change my Captivate password?

Changing your Captivate password is nice and easy once you're logged in.

To change your password:

* Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
* Click on your name, in the top right hand corner of the dashboard.
* Click _My Account_ from the drop down menu.
* Click _Password_ on the left hand side menu.
* Enter your current password.
* Enter your new password.

**_Remember, passwords must:_**

* _Be 8-20 characters long_
* _Contain at least 1 uppercase letter_
* _Contain at least 1 lowercase letter_
* _Include at least 1 number_
* _Not contain any spaces or emojis_

* Confirm your new password.
* Click _Save Changes_.
