Captivate Assistant Settings Overview

With Captivate Assistant, you get a fully integrated AI assistant to help you create great content and grow your show. Take a little time to customize the Captivate Assistant Settings and tailor the results specifically to you and your podcast.

• log into your Captivate dashboard
• click Podcast Settings
• click Captivate Assistant Settings

From here, you can customize everything to suit you and your personality.

Pre-built Personas

Captivate provides you with three options to choose from when it comes to the persona you want Captivate Assistant to use when creating your content.

• Simple and Fun - titles, show notes, etc, are short, simple, and uplifting
• In-depth and Formal - more in-depth content and a more professional tone
• Custom - lets you create your own persona with our customization tool

Customize Your Persona

While the Simple and Fun, and In-depth and Formal personas will set the tone and feel of your content automatically, you can also use the Custom options to set your own persona.

Writing Style

• Tone: Formal, Informal, Conversational, Professional
• Voice: First-person, Second-person, Third-person
• Humour: None, Witty, Sarcastic, Playful
• Complexity: Simple, Complex

Tone of Voice Training

To help Captivate Assistant really capture your character, you can share links for up to 5 publications you’ve published elsewhere, like blog posts for example, and Captivate Assistant will analyze those to learn your writing style, and adapt that for your suggested titles, summaries, etc.
