How to Add Video Podcasts to Spotify
If you’re a podcaster who has video version of your show, and you currently only upload to YouTube, now you can also upload to Spotify. Here’s how!
Log in to Spotify for Podcasters (you need to have already claimed your podcast on Spotify for Podcasters first)
Click on your podcast
Click on Episodes
To the right of the episode where you want to add video, click the ellipsis / three dots
Click Upload Video
Complete the quick checklist for explicit and paid content details
Click Publish
And that’s it, your video can now be played on the Spotify app and web player.
_Note: to view analytics for video episodes, you’ll need to view those on Spotify for Podcasters, since the video views are only tracked in Spotify, and the audio version is pulled from the video as opposed to the RSS feed. So it’s important to keep this in mind, since those analytics won’t appear in your Captivate dashboard._
