How to Claim Your Existing Show on Apple Podcasts Connect
Getting your podcast on Apple Podcasts is as easy as one click, which you can do with our one-click submission process. This will see your show live on Apple Podcasts within an hour (or a day and time of your choosing).
However, you can also claim your show on Podcasts Connect, Apple’s podcaster portal, and this will let you see additional data for your listeners on Apple Podcasts.
Here’s how to claim your existing show on Apple Podcasts Connect.
Note: this is for podcasters who already have a Podcasts Connect account - if you haven’t created one yet, you can do that following these steps.
Log in to your Podcasts Connect account
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Under More Actions, click Claim Existing Show
Copy and paste the URL for your show on Apple Podcasts into the URL box
Check the show name and art are correct in the preview and click Next
Follow the instructions to generate a Claim token (this is only valid for 7 days)
Copy the token and go to Podcast settings on your Captivate dashboard
Scroll down to Apple Podcasts Claim Token
Paste the token into the box, and then click Update Show Settings at the bottom of the page
That’s it - your podcast is now claimed and will appear in your Podcasts Connect account within 24 hours. You’ll be able to view listener data like episode drop-off, trends, etc, for your listeners that use Apple Podcasts.
However, you can also claim your show on Podcasts Connect, Apple’s podcaster portal, and this will let you see additional data for your listeners on Apple Podcasts.
