As well as publishing your podcast directly to your website with our free WordPress plugin, Captivate Sync™, you can also manage your team members right from your WordPress dashboard with our user management permissions feature.
This includes setting the default author for the blog post that promotes your latest episode, which is perfect for multi-author blogs and websites.
Managing this option is super easy!
To set a default author for your podcast:
Click on My Shows from the Captivate Sync™ section of your WordPress dashboard
For each show on your account, click the Author drop down field
Select the author for that podcast and your change will be automatically saved
That's it! Your author is now set up for that show, and any episodes that are synced to your site will display that author name.
Note: Previously published episodes won't be affected.
