With Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, you can publish exclusive content for paid subscribers on Apple Podcasts (ad-free episodes, or bonus content, for example).
With Captivate’s integration to Apple’s Delegated Delivery feature, it’s super easy to send this premium content directly from your Captivate account to Apple Podcasts!
log in to your Captivate account
click Publish Episode
fill in your details as normal
scroll down to the Member Access section
tick the Member Only Content box
upload the audio file you want to send to your Apple Podcasts Subscription members (this will also go out to any Captivate Membership subscribers that you’ve set up for the same perks as your Apple Podcasts Subscriptions)
you also have the option to use your public RSS feed audio if that has ads in it using AMIE, and well automatically remove them for you - sweet!
schedule or publish your episode
Now this specific audio will only go out to your Apple Podcasts paid subscribers, or your Captivate Members, while everyone else will get the default audio with ads, etc.
