We designed the Captivate embeddable podcast player to look amazing on any website, on any screen. But, we also made it really, really easy to embed, too with web standard embed codes and oEmbed compatibility.

Do you have a WordPress website?

Captivate Sync™ is Captivate's free WordPress podcasting plugin that allows you to easily link your WordPress website to your Captivate podcast hosting account, and seamlessly publish from one platform to the other whilst keeping everything synchronised. Check out the details here.

To manually embed the single episode Captivate podcast player on your custom website:

  • Log in to your Captivate dashboard.

  • Click Episodes from the left hand menu under the Content Management section.

  • Click the Share icon at the side of the episode you want to share.

  • A new window will open, click Copy on the Embed on your website section.

The embed code is now copied to your clipboard ready to paste into the HTML editor within your website platform. It's that easy!

If your website supports oEmbed:

  • Log in to your Captivate dashboard.

  • Click Episodes from the left hand menu under the Content Management section.

  • Click the Share icon at the side of the episode you want to share.

  • A new window will open, click Copy on the Paste this link into your social posts section.

The embed code is now copied to your clipboard ready to paste into the HTML editor within your website platform. It's that easy!

Note: You can also copy the Paste this link into your social posts embed code if you want to use the simple oEmbed option.
