How to manage and cancel podcast guest bookings

Sometimes things come up that mean we have to change our plans. So, whether you need to cancel a booking until another time or re-schedule one until a later date, we've made it super easy to do from your Captivate account.


Note: When a podcast guest booking is amended, re-scheduled or cancelled your podcast guest will receive an email notification in their inbox! 👍


To re-schedule a guest booking:


  • Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
  • Click Bookings from the left hand menu under the Guest Bookings section.
  • Find the booking you want to change and click Manage Booking.
  • Select a new date and time.
  • Update the Interview Link if this needs to be changed.
  • Let your guest know why you're changing the booking in the Notes section.
  • Click Update Booking.


To cancel a guest booking:


  • Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
  • Click Bookings from the left hand menu under the Guest Bookings section.
  • Find the booking you want to cancel and click Cancel Booking.
  • Let your guest know why you are cancelling the booking in the Notes section.
  • Click Cancel Booking.
