How to Manage Marketplace Campaigns

Managing your campaigns on Captivate Marketplace is simple, with our intuitive campaign dashboard.

  • log in to your Marketplace dashboard
  • click Campaigns in the left hand menu - from here, you can manage Offers, Active, and Ended

Offers: these are offers that you’ve sent and are currently negotiating with the podcaster. Clicking the title of the campaign opens up the management section for that campaign.

  • the podcast you’ve made the offer to
  • the details of the campaign - start date, end date (if set), budget, and max impressions
  • the media file you’ve uploaded to be used on the podcast
  • the original offer sent, and the Campaign Latest offer if the podcaster has suggested changes (amount to be paid, max impressions, position of the ad slot, etc)
  • the chat history between you and the podcaster
  • Withdraw Offer (if you’re unable to agree any suggested changes)
  • Edit Campaign Offer (to make agreed changes, including run date, ad position, calls to action, pricing, max impressions, and calculated CPM, and the audio file for the campaign

Active: this is where you’ll find active campaigns, and the details for each one. This includes campaign name, campaign dates, ad position, CP, max impressions agreed, and status of the campaign (if it’s still under discussion, or if it’s been accepted).

Clicking the title of each campaign opens up the offer page for that campaign.

  • Podcast: the name of the show running your campaign
  • Campaign latest: the main details of the campaign including start/end date (where applicable), budget, max impressions, ad position, media file, and campaign documents (a PDF document highlighting the agreement between you can the podcaster)
  • Original offer - if you’ve negotiated a different offer with the podcaster (new budget, max impressions, etc), this displays details of the original offer sent
  • Campaign delivery - how many impressions have been delivered toward the agreed amount
  • Chat history

Ended: when a campaign is ended, either at the end of a current campaign or earlier by you, this is where you’ll find details of these.

If you end a campaign early and the agreed campaign milestones weren’t met, you’ll receive a pro-rated refund for any difference between what was delivered and what was left remaining (this will be visible on the Campaign Delivery box at the top of the page).
