Managing Your Marketplace Dashboard

The Captivate Marketplace dashboard is where you can create your campaigns, communicate with podcasters, upload creatives, track your current campaign metrics, and more. The dashboard is broken down into five sections: Dashboard, Campaigns, Discover, Media, and Settings.

Dashboard

This is the summary dashboard that gives you a quick look at the following details.

  • Campaigns: how many are live and how many are pending
  • Offers sent: the number of accepted offers, and how many are currently pending
  • Total spend: this is your ad spend for the last 28 days
  • Average CPM: the current CPM across all active campaigns
  • Latest campaign offers: this shows you available inventory (podcasts) for your ads
  • Active campaigns: as you create campaigns, this section will display your current active ones
  • Audience performance: this displays total impressions for the last 28 days, average downloads per campaign episode, and the top country

Campaigns

This is where you can view offers, active, and ended campaigns.

  • Offers: when you create a new offer, the details will be under the Offers tab until accepted. You can view the details of the offer by clicking the offer title - name of campaign, campaign dates, the ad position (pre roll, mid roll, post roll), the CPM, and the status of the offer. You can also choose to withdraw the offer here.
  • Active: this shows all your current active offers, as well as how many impressions have been received so far. You can manage your current campaigns from here - read our How to Manage Campaigns help article for more information on this.
  • Ended: these are campaigns that are now over.

Discover

This is where you can find podcasts to advertise on, based on a series of filters that you choose to ensure you work with the types of podcasts that are right for your ad spend.

  • Search: use the search bar to look for specific podcasts or keywords (podcast host name, podcast title, etc)
  • Podcast Categories: filter results based on the category you’re interested in (Arts, Business, etc)
  • Filter by Downloads: choose the download range you’re interested in

You can also view more details about specific podcasts by clicking Podcast Details, which will then display the show’s average downloads on a rolling 28 days result, as well as the first 7 days averages for episodes. You can also listen to sample episodes and what the average duration is for each episode.

Media

This is where you can see what media files you’ve uploaded for your campaign (this will be the audio file for your ad, that the podcaster can insert in the agreed ad slot).
When you upload your file, we’ll transcribe it to ensure the content matches the audio, and that it passes content safety guidelines. You can also see what campaign the audio file is attached to.

Settings

  • Details: this is your company name, address, and contact information for your account
  • Users: here you can manage your ad team, and invite them to join either as an admin with the same permissions as you, or a user account to with view access
  • Billing: you can manage your payment methods here, and add new cards remove existing. You’ll also see your billing history for campaigns that you’ve created, and how much was paid for each campaign.
