So you've created your podcast, uploaded and published your episodes, and distributed to the various podcast apps.
It's been a few weeks now, and you can see your show on the main apps like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and more. But what about other apps and directories?
If you're curious about where else your show has been published, here's a really simple way to do this!
Head on over to Podnews, one of the leading podcast online resources
At the top right of the screen, enter your show's name in the Search bar
On the next screen, look for your show in The Podcast Index section
Click on the link for your show (note: data is pulled from The Podcast Index, so if your show is new, it may not be indexed yet)
This will open up a description page about your show, with information pulled from your public RSS feed. It may also display a podcast player with your latest episode.
But what's really cool is it highlights what podcast apps your show is on, as well as mention some it may not be on yet, but worth adding to.
If there are some directories where your show isn't published, you can easily submit using this list of apps and their submission process.
And that's it - a simple way to check your podcast's reach, and how to grow it even more!
Tip: once you have your links for Apple Podcasts, Google, Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music, make sure you enter them into your Single Subscription Link to make it super easy for people to listen to your show!
