We've made it simple for you to schedule and manage podcast guest bookings, right from your Captivate dashboard.
Whether your podcast guest uses your unique podcast guest booking link, or you schedule a date and time yourself, your guest will receive a booking confirmation email straight to their inbox!
Note: The dates and times available on your podcast guest bookings are determined by the preferences you selected in the Availability section, under the Guest Bookings section of your Captivate account. If you'd like to create a booking outside of the parameters you set, simply check the box for 'Date and Time Override'.
There are three options when it comes to scheduling your guest bookings:
To create a booking for a brand new podcast guest:
Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
Click Bookings from the left hand menu under the Guest Bookings section.
Click on Add a Booking.
Select Invite a New Guest.
Complete the Guest Details fields.
Select the date and time you'd like to invite your podcast guest.
Add the link where your interview will take place (e.g. Zoom link).
Add any social or external links you may have for your podcast guest.
Click Create Booking.
To create a booking for an existing podcast guest:
Log in to your Captivate dashboard.
Click Bookings from the left hand menu under the Guest Bookings section.
Click on Add a Booking.
Select Saved Guest.
From the drop-down, select your podcast guest.
Select the date and time you'd like to invite your podcast guest.
Add the link where your interview will take place (e.g. Zoom link).
You can also book an interview with an existing guest from the Guests section of your Captivate dashboard:
Click Guests from the left hand menu under the Guest Bookings section.
For the podcast guest you want to create a booking for, click the Book Guest icon.
You will then be taken to the podcast guest booking form to complete.
To create a booking using your unique podcast guest booking link:
Once you have your unique guest booking link enabled, simply share this link with your podcast guest.
Your podcast guest will have access to your very own guest booking page where they can pick a date and time to suit them (based on the preferences you have set here) as well as provide you with all their key podcast guest information! It's that easy!
Note: When enabled, your unique guest booking link can easily be copied to your clipboard from the top menu of your Captivate account.
What happens next?
Once you have a podcast guest interview scheduled, your guest will receive an email containing the following information:
Date and time confirmation.
Any interview information you have included.
Option to add the invite to their Google calendar or download the invite.
A link to cancel or reschedule their interview.
