Captivate has been built to work nicely with several other tools that podcasters use including websites, social media and Podchaser.

At the centre of that is you, either as the creator of your podcast or as part of a wider team working on a show.

Your profile information is used on your podcast website either via Captivate Sites or via Captivate Sync™ on your own WordPress website.

To get started, log in to your Captivate dashboard, click on the drop down icon link next to your account name in the top right of your dashboard and click My Account.

From here, you can:

  • Edit your profile: Here you can add your profile image, change your email address and add a short bio that will be displayed on your Captivate Site or via Captivate Sync™ on your WordPress website.

  • Upgrade your plan: Switch from monthly to annual subscriptions as well as upgrade your plan to meet your download threshold and private feed requirements.

  • Change your password: Want to change your password? No problem. Just confirm your current password and pick a new one to meet the security criteria.

  • Add and manage social profiles: Add all your profile social links here. These are links that will be displayed on your Captivate Site or via Captivate Sync™ on your WordPress website.

  • Manage your external links: Add a link and label to landing pages or other websites you’re involved in.

  • Update billing: Update your billing details, view your invoices and cancel your account from here.

  • Access your API Key: Your API key allows you to securely connect other platforms to your Captivate account, such as WordPress via Captivate Sync™, your Zapier account or external platforms such as the podcast editing tool Alitu.
