How to Upload Media Files to the Ad Content Library

Using Captivate’s Campaign Management to run targeted promotions, sponsor messages, and more is easy, and that includes uploading your specific campaign media files.

Note: Campaigns have a separate audio library from regular media uploads, so we can ensure the audio files match ad specifications

  • log in to your Captivate dashboard
  • Under Monetization in the left hand menu, click Ad Content Library
  • choose whether to drag and drop the file(s) from your desktop, or click Browse to upload that way
  • the upload bar will show the upload progress
  • once uploaded, the file will be displayed alongside your other uploaded files
  • if you wish to rename the file, just click the Edit icon to the right of the file

Once uploaded, you then can access some cool features about your file(s), by clicking the dropdown arrow next to a file.

  • Attached to Campaigns: this will show which campaigns the file is currently being used on
  • Sentiment Analysis: this will show whether there are any positive or negative sentences in the audio
  • Content Safety: this will display whether the audio discusses mature themes, to ensure an ad for alcohol, for example, isn’t played in a podcast for children
  • Topic Detection: the industries or areas of interest for the ad
  • Transcript: a text version of the audio from the ad
